Kodagu: A staff member of the Department of Public Instruction from Mangaluru resorted to suicide by hanging himself in a lodge here on Thursday September 8.
The body of Shivanand (45) was found in a hotel room near the KSRTC Bus Stand here. The reason behind the suicide is yet to be known. He was working as a Superintendent in the Office of Block Education Officer (BEO) Dakshina Kannada
Madikeri Town Police have registered a case and further investigations are on.
