Kodagu: During a Facebook live session, Deputy Commissioner Charulata Somal urged the people to come out of their house only if it is essential. She spoke about the measures taken to control the Covid-19 pandemic in Kodagu.

Since the lockdown has been extended till June 7, purchase of essentials will be allowed only 3 days a week, she said.

She said that the positivity rate in the district is declining. “A helpline has also been set up at the Covid hospital. People should not panic. There is no shortage of medicines and oxygen in the district,” she said.
