Speaking in a preparatory meeting held at his office in Madikeri on Monday December 6, Deputy Commissioner Dr. B. C. Sateesha said that while inaugural function will be held in Talakaveri on Friday December 17, the festival will be held in Kushalnagar on Saturday December 18.

As part of the Utsava, a motorbike rally will be organised in order to create awareness on cleanliness from Talakaveri to Bhagamandala. At Triveni Sangama, a programme to create awareness on protection of rivers will be held. Deepotsava too will be part of the Utsava.
