Landslide in Chamundi Hills again

Mysuru: Landslide continues at Chamundi Hills in the City, with a portion of the road leading to Nandi statue caving in again on the night of Thursday November 4.

According to sources, following heavy rainfall on Thursday night that continued up to wee hours of Friday November 5, a portion of the road which had collapsed earlier collapsed again, triggering concern among the authorities.

Speaking to mediapersons at Nanjangudu, Cooperation and District Incharge Minister S. T. Somashekar said ”I have spoken with PWD Minister C. C. Patil and the latter is expected to visit the spot in two to three days.

As the Chief Minister is on his district tour, the PWD Minister is touring along with him.
