Madikeri: Gagan Karumbaiah and Amrathimmaiah from Kodagu took away the top honours at the recently concluded Coffee day Indian rally- 2017 in Chikkamagaluru.
In the rally held between November 24-26 at Chikkamagaluru, the combination of Gagan as driver and Amrathimmaiah as navigator won the first place in the gypsy class.
Sachin Murthy, another rallyist from Somwarpet stood second.
Gagan Karumbaiah has been taking part in the rally as navigator since four years whereas the rest were debutantes.
