Madikeri: One hunter died after an altercation broke out within a group of hunters who had ventured into the woods, on Wednesday at Mundrotu forest area near Bhagamandala.
The deceased is George (50) from Meenankeri of Taliparambu in Kerala.
It is said that an argument sparked between two hunters over some trivial issue and the two started firing in fit of rage. This led to death of one. Three others have been injured in the incident.
Bhagamandala police has registered a case.
