Mandya: One of the late actor M H Ambareesh’s favourite dishes is ‘Raagi Mudde’ and chicken curry. On Sunday evening, minutes before the police were planning to move Ambareesh’s mortal remains to an ambulance to airlift to Mandya, a fan did the unbelievable. He arrived with two ‘Raagi Mudde’ and chicken curry and offered the same to Ambareesh and paid his last respects. The police, who were guarding the mortal remains, were shocked by fan’s offering and immediately removed them.
According to eyewitnesses, the young fan who made the unusual offering is in his late 20’s. “He arrived with a small plastic cover. While doing the ‘namaskaram’ for the mortal remains, he placed the cover near the body. When the police opened the cover, they found these items,” said volunteers, who were deputed near the mortal remains for security purposes.
The fan informed the volunteers and the police that as Ambiyanna liked ‘Raagi Mudde’ and chicken curry, he decided to offer them.
