Two houses were damaged in Lokasagara village due to the rain. However, no causality has been reported.

The standing crops in more than 30 acres in Marasinganahalli and Thimmanahosur in Mandya taluk of the district were also damaged. But the heavy rain has raised hopes of farmers anticipating rabi crop as tanks and ponds will be filled. The smiles of the farmers could grow broader as the Meteorological Department has predicted more rains for next four days in the region.
