Mandya: A clash between two groups of a village claimed two lives on Sunday night, here at Thoppanahalli in Madoor.
The fight between two heavily armed groups rendered at least four severely injured. The deceased are Nandish (20) and Muthraj (42), while few injured are in critical state.
However, what is astonishing is the fact that none in the village know the exact reason over the violence. Tense situation persists in the village after the clash and it is said that most men from the village have fled. Security has been beefed up in Madoor, Halguru, Malavalli, K M Doddi, Kesthur, Koppa and nearby areas. Prohibitory orders have been slammed on the villages.
