Mandya: There is no need to fight for the increase in reservation for the Vokkaliga Community, said Minister K. C. Narayana Gowda and added that talks will be held at the Government level as well as efforts will be made to increase the reservation.
Speaking to mediapersons after the sacred soil collection programme in the City, he said, “I have immense respect for Nanjavadhoota Swamiji. Yet there is no need to fight. Talks will be held at the Government level and efforts will be made to get justice to the reservation agitation. It may take sometime as the approval of the Central Government is required, he noted.
He expressed confidence that the Vokkaliga community will get reservation.
