Mandya: Vishwaprasanna Teertha Seer of Sri Pejawara Matha questioned why Brahmins should not become Chief Ministers of the State?
Speaking to mediapersons in Maddur of the District, he said that whenever election is around the corner, Brahmins are targeted by politicians for the political gains. “Whether Brahmins are not the citizens of this country? If there is a chance, let a Brahmin leader become CM,” he said.
Reacting to the statements of Former CM H. D. Kumaraswamy against Union Minister Prahlad Joshi, he stated that it is not new to see statements against Brahmins.
“As Brahmins are not numerically insignificant, they are the easy targets for politicians,” he charged.
