Malavalli: The efforts will be made to allocate Rs 347 crore for infrastructural development of tourist spots across the state, said co-operative minister Mahadevaprasad.
The minister Mahadevaprasad speaking during the concluding function of Jalapatatsav held at Gaganachukki waterfalls, near here expressed displeasure over not developing majority of tourist sports in the state. Meanwhile, he offered assurances of developing Gaganachukki waterfalls as that of Niagara in US.
The state food and civil supplies minister Gundu Rao said that Jalapatotsav was an attempt to promote cultural celebrations.
