Mysuru: Hundreds of supporters of education minister Tanveer Sait thronged the streets in Mysuru urging Chief Minister Siddaramaiah not to drop him from the State Cabinet after reports appeared in the media about the minister watching nude clips during an official function at Raichur during Tipu Jayanthi on November 10.
They demanded a thorough investigation into the incident and felt that this is a sinister plot by his opponents to oust him from the Cabinet. They said that their leader was not involved in watching any sexual explicit content as reported in the media.

Around 50 supporters of the minister were arrested by Udayagiri police near the circle as they had not sought prior permission from the police department for protest.

At the same time, hundreds of his supporters, assembled near his residence and urged him not to succumb under pressure and offer resignation.
