Mysuru: “There was initial support for the note ban from us too. Demonetisation was also portrayed as a social movement throughout the country. But PM Modi has committed a blunder through this act. It was promised that each account would get Rs 5 Lakh from the black money taken out from the Swiss bank accounts but it took almost two years for the Centre to just check the accounts in the Swiss bank,” said H Vishwanath addressing the press at Jaladarshini here on December 30.
“If you swipe a card, two percent of the money gets deducted. The creator of PayTm is a close friend of Modi. He had helped him during the elections too and this was the way through which the favour was repayed”, blamed Vishwanath. “Modi is systematically trying to project Rahul Gandhi as a buffoon and acting as a Robin Hood for the benefit of some vested interests,” he lashed out at PM.

“What would be the new announcement on December 31 has created curiosity in me. Modi has just made citizens dance like puppets with his sugar-coated words. Note ban is a violation of human rights. This has also been accepted by international economists. Social media is also being misused to promote Modi’s move as heroic,” expressed Vishwanath. “Congress too has failed to fight against note ban,” he confessed.

Vishwanath answering the question posed by Janardhan Poojary of Mangaluru said, “I and Poojary are like Sita in Ashokawana. Like Sita did not wait for others except Ram, we look forward only to congress. This is to be known by the all including Chief Minister. There should be a sense of respect to the word of the elders in the party,” he clarified.

Congress leaders D Vijayakumar, Ravishankar and others were present during the meet.
