Mysuru: Kodagu – Mysuru MP Pratap Simha on Friday February 11 met Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav and appealed to rename Tippu Express train as Wodeyar Express.
In a memorandum submitted to Minister, Simha has stated that Wodeyars’ contribution has been immense in developing railway connectivity to Heritage City Mysuru.
Hence, it is appropriate to name it after Wodeyar, he added.
