Mysuru: The accused arrested in RSS activist Rudresh murder case have revealed during investigation that their next target was Kodagu and Mysuru MP Prathap Simha. With this, the MP has decided to write to the police to beef up his security.
The four accused who are arrested in connection with Rudresh murder case are being investigated and it is revealed that they were targeting pro-Hindu and BJP leaders.
The accused also confessed to have attempted to finish Prathap Simha twice but their attempts failed. The accused had all the details about MP’s programme schedule.
Meanwhile, Prathap Simha said that earlier a person had uploaded Simha’s photo on facebook and threatened to eliminate him. “The police have not taken any action against him,” he said adding that the state government has dropped cases against members of SDPI, KFD and PFI which has given them more power to involve in murder cases.
“My senior leaders have asked me to write to police commissioner to provide a gunman, which I will do,” the MP said.
