Mysuru: As part of the 29th annual Hanuman Jayanti procession to be celebrated on December 7, the Hanumanthotsava Samiti Office was inaugurated by Sambasadasivaswamiji and Nataraja Swamiji by lighting a lamp at the old Vijaya Bank premises.
Speaking on the occasion, Natarajaswamiji said that the Hanumanthotsava procession in Hunsuru in the District was celebrated in a simple manner for the last 2 to 3 years due to COVID – 19 and other reasons. He called upon the committee to work hard to celebrate the festival in a grand manner as scheduled this time.
Speaking on the occasion, Sambasadasiva Swamiji said that Lord Hanuman is the shakti deity worshipped by all and the committee has decided to celebrate the festival in a grand manner this time and urged the people of the Taluk to celebrate it with devotion.
Utsava Samiti President Venkatanarayana Das said that the road blockade in the City has been lifted and the festival is being held in all the main roads. This time, the idols of Lord Hanuman will be brought from various garadi houses in the Taluk, especially in the City, he added.
