Mysuru: Home Min orders strict action against illegal activities

Mysuru: Home Minister Araga Jnanendra has instructed police officers to take stringent action against illegal cattle transporting  and trading activities.

Speaking at the police officers’ review meeting held here on Wednesday February 2, he said that  there is an information that  illegal cattle trading has been taking place, and police should take action against the same. He also said State Government gas banned online gambling. The officers should strictly enforce it.

The Minister also participated in the passing out parade of newly appointed 228 sub-inspectors at Karnataka Police Academy.

Speaking to mediapersons , Jnanendra said that a probe  is going on about allegation against CID Intendent of Police Ravi Chennanavar amassing illegal
property. He said transfer of Ravi is administrative  decision and not punishment. He added probe would reveal the truth.
