Mysuru: Isha Foundation Founder Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev, opined that the focus should be on increasing employment opportunities along with creating job opportunities in proportion to the number of Engineering graduates.
Delivering the convocation address at the 5th Convocation of JSS University of Science and Technology here, he said that engineers have to become magicians and every year 15 lakh students in India are getting engineering degrees. However, not even 20 per cent of jobs are being created. We hear graduates selling bonda and bajji. That too requires skill, he said.
“The magic of magicians can be created by engineers. He suggested that engineering students should create magic. Technology and Science have no purpose without the effect of a person’s intention. We have seen good and destruction from Science and Technology. Therefore the purpose must come from the heart,” he said.
