Mysuru: Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr. K. Sudhakar said that Rs 130 Crore has been allocated for Mysuru towardse construction of a Special Cancer Hospital, which will be approved in the next Cabinet meeting.
Speaking to mediapersons in the City, he said that the construction of a Special Cancer Hospital will be approved in the next Cabinet meeting and Rs. 50 Crore will be released in the first phase. A tender has been floated at a cost of Rs. 89 Crore for the renovation of K. R. Hospital and is in the final stages. Our clinics will be inaugurated in the month of November, he said.
He added that the target is to distribute 5 Crore Ayushman cards by the end of December.
