Mysuru: Ahead of Independence Day celebration on August 15, National Flag will flutter atop 5000 houses in Krishnaraja Assembly Constituency in the City.
Speaking to mediapersons here on Tuesday August 9 , Krishnaraja Constituency MLA S. A. Ramadass said, “Several programmes have been organised from August 9 as part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. Patriotic songs singing
competition has been organised at 19 wards of the constituency. We will distribute the title deeds of 3,000 houses at Ashokapuram to mark mAzadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. On Friday August 12 school and college students will take out a rally from Mysuru Palace to Vidyaranyapuram grounds.”
On Sunday August 14, youth will take out a motorbike rally with Indian National Flag on major thoroughfares of the City, MLA Ramadas added.
