Mysuru: In a spirit of giving, the Mysuru Zoo has decided to gift Bubbly, a 3-and-a-half year old female giraffe, to the Bannerghatta Biological Park in Bengaluru.
As a means to familiarise the young animal with its soon to be transport vessel, the cage to be used for its transport has been placed inside her enclosure. The zoo officials said that the process of transporting her to the Bannerghatta Biological Park would take about a month as they have to inspect and study the route from Mysuru to Bengaluru for any possible obstructions to the travel.
Considering that there will be power lines and other obstructions along the way, they will have to seek the support of the respective authorities in order to avoid any hiccups and transport the 22-feet-tall Bubbly safely.
