Mysuru: A man who was allegedly harassing a girl over phone was beaten black and blue near Nanjumalige in the City on Friday October 22.
It is alleged that the man who had somehow got access to the cellphone number of a girl was frequently calling her and asking her meet him. When the girl told her brother about the calls of a stranger, the latter along with his friends laid a trap and caught hold of him near Nanjumalige.
It is reported that they assaulted him before taking him in an autorickshaw to hand him over to police.
