Bengaluru: Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai has put on hold the hike in milk and curd prices.

Bommai has put on hold Karnataka Milk Federation’s (KMF) order to increase the price of milk and curd by Rs. 3.

KMF President Balachandra Jarakiholi said a decision on the price hike will be taken after a meeting on November 20. On the morning of Monday November 14, he ordered an increase in the prices of both milk and curd products. The order also mentioned that the revised rates will come into effect from Monday midnight.

If the price hike were brought into force, the public should have paid Rs. 3 extra beginning early hours of Tuesday November 15.
