Mysuru: State Energy Minister V. Sunil Kumar and Arushi Green Energy Chief Executive Officer Yogesh Dange on Saturday May 7 inaugurated the first electric charging station in the Cultural City.
The much-awaited charging station has come up at KEB Engineers’ Association Office (KEBEA) near Kadakola on Mysuru – Nanjangudu Road. As the highway connects Mysuru with Ooty and Kerala and also Tamil Nadu, it will surely come in handy for electric vehicles, both four wheelers and two-wheelers.
It is an initiative of Chamundeshwari Electricity Supply Corporation (CESC) headquartered in Mysuru led by Managing Director Jayavibhava Swamy that the much needed EV charging station has become a reality. It is also close to Mysuru Airport at Mandakalli and Nanjangudu industrial area.
Arushi company which is in EV Charging technology sector has installed EV charging station. It provides charging facility for three cars and two-wheelers at a time, for free. The other two charging stations will come up at Garuda Mall near KR Circle and CESC, Kuvempunagara Office premises in the City soon
