Mysuru: All India Democratic Students’ Organisation (AIDSO) State President Ashwini K. S. on Thursday January 27 met Health and Medical Education Minister Dr. K. Sudhakar, regarding the postponement of final year medical examinations. Final year medical students had recently staged a protest urging the authorities to postpone the exams which are scheduled to be held in February.

Addressing the grievances of students, Dr Sudhakar, said “We are aware of the current situation of the medical students on the upcoming exams. We will hold a discussion regarding the same and will come to a solution.”

AIDSO had conducted a survey of students across the State. The survey reports were submitted to Dr. Sudhakar during the meeting. Around 95 percent of the students expressed that the exams should be postponed as the portions are yet to be finished and there is a need for more than a month to prepare for exams.
