Mysuru: A group assaulted two youth for aaking to leave way as a tractor was parked in the middle of the road. The incident took place at Karalapura Village in Nanjanagudu Taluk.

The two youth who were injured in the incident are being treated at a Government Hospital in Nanjanagudu. The injured youth were identified as Santhosh and Girish of Karalapura Village.

Some allegedly hurled casteist slurs at youth when they asked to remove the tractor parked in the middle of the road.

Last year, during Ambedkar Jayanti, a scuffle broke out and people belonging to one community assaulted people belonging to another community. Nanjanagudu Rural Police visited the spot and held a reconciliation meeting and put an end to the case.

The Villagers of Karalapura have alleged that Nanjanagudu Rural Police Station Inspector is responsible for this development and if Nanjanagudu Rural Police do not wake up, it will lead to a major disaster.
