Mysuru City Police return stolen property to rightful owners

Mysuru: The City Police returned stolen items to the rightful owners and distributed ‘Vommendation Letters’ to police officers at a function held at CAR Ground at Jyothinagar here on Tuesday November 23.

The Mysuru Police returned items worth Rs. 16276229 to the respective owners. The complaints registered were of 5 robbery cases, 8 extortion cases, 18 house thefts, 38 vehicle thefts and other cases.

At the event, the police officers responsible for the investigation and arrest of the convicts were felicitated with a ‘Commendation Letters.’

Inspector General of Police (Southern Range), Mysuru, Praveen Madhukar Pawar, Mysuru District Superintendent of Police R. Chethan, Deputy Superintendent of Police Nanjanagudu Sub-division Govindaraju, Deputy
Superintendent of Police Hunsur Sub-division Raviprasad, Circle Inspectors of Police and others were present.
