Mysuru: The Mysuru City Corporation (MCC), Chamundipuram Ward Corporator M. V. Ramaprasad celebrated the Gauri festival by offering bagina and saree to 50 pourakarmika women.
Speaking after the distribution Ramaprasad said “Unlike others who partake in the festival with enthusiasm and are clad in new dresses, pourakarmikas continue to discharge their duties. They see God in their work. With Dasara festival nearing, their efforts will be only more. He said he felicitated and recognised the hardwork of civic workers by offering bagina.
Leaders Sandeep, Chandrasekhar, Vikram Iyengar, Gokul, Puneeth, Adwaith, Shivu, Santosh, Dharmendra, Devendra Swamy, Lalithamba, Basavaraj, Rakesh, Madhu, Ramachandra, Roopesh, Kaushik and others were present.
