Mysuru: Customers murder bar employee

Mysuru: A bar employee was stabbed to death by a group of customers on the night of Wednesday July 20 on Manandavadi Road at Vidyaranyapuram in the City.

The incident occurred when the deceased a bar employee asked the group of customers to pay the correct amount. The deceased has been identified as Nandan Kumar alias Appi, a resident of Mandya District and was working at Navrang Bar in Mysuru. The group had paid Rs. 100 less. When Nandan Kumar questioned this and asked them to pay the full amount, they stabbed him to death with a knife and fled from the spot.

Inspector Raju and Sub-Inspector Rangaswamy of Vidyaranyapuram Police Station visited the spot. A manhunt to apprehend the group of accused is underway. A case has also been registered in the Police Station.
