Mysuru: Writer and Publisher Ganesh Ameenagada’s collection of articles on theatre has been selected for the ‘Dr. Thontada Siddalinga Sri’ Book Award for the year 2021. The award is constituted by the Kannada Pustaka Parishat, Vijayapura.
The award carries a cash prize of Rs 5,000, a memento and a certificate.
The award ceremony will be held at Kadani in Alamela Taluk of Vijayapura District on October 29 at 11.00 am
A book festival will also be organised on the same day and 32 books of the publication will be released, according to a press release from Shankar Baichabala, Convenor of Kannada Pustaka Parishat.
