Mysuru: Former Chief Minister H. D. Kumaraswamy challenged Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai to conduct probe into alleged scandals during the tenure of Former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah instead of sending details to All India Congress Committee Leader Rahul Gandhi.

Speaking to mediapersons after inaugurating the 2-day JD (S) consultation workshop at a private hotel in Mysuru on Wednesday October 19, he released the Pancharatna Rath Yatra CD. He said, “Every day people are losing their lives due to road potholes in the City. The court reprimanded this. However, the Government has no sense of sin. This situation would not have happened if people’s representatives and ministers had worked properly. The Government needs to wake up. If we ask CM Bommai about this, he says that he is getting more information. He criticised that such a Government has never come in the history of this country.

He said that Pancharatna Yojana is not aimed to get votes. I have no intention to get a vote, getting power and becoming CM. I have already been CM two times. My intention is to make Karnataka a garden of peace for all races. He said that the suffering people should be helped. We will start Pancharatna Rath Yatra on November 1 from Mulbagilu Anjaneya and Ganesha Temple in Kolar District. This time we are confident of reaching the target of 123 and JD (S) will also contest in 224 constituencies. HDK clarified that there is no coalition with anyone in the next election and informed that H. D. Deve Gowda will participate in the programme.

He said Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra has made no impact in State It is an artificial one, just for uniting Siddaramaiah and D. K. Shivakumar. He said that this Jodo Yatra will not work in Karnataka, he said.

When asked about Mandya MP Sumalatha calling JD (S) MLAs to make an oath in front of God about works taking place he said, “I do not know who Sumalatha is.”
