Mysuru: Apex Bank Vice-President G. D. Harish Gowda performed ‘Guddali Pooja’ for the construction of a new BMC Building at Kirangur in Hanagodu Hobli of Hunsuru Taluk at a cost of Rs. 40 lakh.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that Hunsuru Taluk is at the forefront of milk production and is proud to have more BMC centres and the BMC centre work is in progress in many milk producers’ co-operative societies in the Taluk. Within a few years of the establishment of the Kirangur Dairy, the dairy has made great progress and he said “I am happy that it has saved Rs. 8 lakh to build its own building. The existing BMC centre is being constructed with the help of MYMUL and National Dairy Development to encourage dairy farmers”.
Further he said that eight more centres will be assisted by the National Corporation and many more BMC centres will be opened.
