Mysuru: International Institute for Assisted Reproduction Technology and Research Centre (IIARTRC) celebrated its first graduation day on Monday April 25.

The MSc degree in Assisted Reproduction and Embryology programme began in 2019 with the aim of training students in clinical embryology to address a shortage of properly trained embryologists.

The course is affiliated with the University of Mysore. The institute has students from 24 different states. It has a 100 per cent pass per cent and placements. Around 40 students graduated in the batch.

In his presidential address, Mysore University Vice-Chancellor Dr. Hemanth Kumar congratulated the graduates and said that there is a need for recognition of such skilled, career-oriented courses and technology should reach the society. He also wished that the institution be recognised not only nationally but globally.
