Mysuru: The City Police Commissioner Dr. Chandra Gupta has issued an order on Monday September 19 suspending Narasimharaja Traffic Police Station Police Sub Inspector Ashwini Ananthapura of here on the allegation of malpractice in awarding the post of First Class Assistant.
The action came after Mobile and WhatsApp audio conversations where the accused PSI spoke with Sangamesh Jhalaki of Bagalakote District to give Basavaraju, a post in the KPSC first division assistant ( FDA) recruitment process went oviral on the internet. Also, the bank statement of the illegal transfer of money was also broadcasted in the media.
City Crime Branch ACP Dr Chandragupta said that, “a preliminary investigation into the matter is being conducted and PSI Ashwini was suspended after the allegations were found to be apparently genuine”.
