Mysuru: Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) seems to have woken up from its slumber. Despite receiving an umpteen number of complaints that the City roads are in bad shape, the MCC did not bother to take up repair work.
With the world-famous Mysuru Dasara festival fast approaching, the civic authorities have taken up the arduous task of asphalting some of the important roads. The work began on Tuesday September 20. With only a couple of days to go for the nine-day festival, one will have to wait and see if MCC will be able to meet the deadline.
The President of India Droupadi Murmu will be inaugurating Mysuru Dasara festival on September 26.
