Mysuru: Mellusire Savigana, a musical night of yesteryear’s hit songs of multilingual films will be held at Jaganmohan Palace in the City on September 17 at 5.30 pm.
Speaking to mediapersons here on Wednesday September 14 said, “Vudyullahari in association with Bhoomika Associates is organising the programme.” Vidyullahari is an organisation founded by professional engineers to identify and nurture talents in the realm, especially in music.
Dr. A. D. Srinivas, Dr. Somanath, Vasudev, Hamsini, Dr. Sneha Nirmal Kumar, Dr. S. Padmashri, Srihari A. S. and several other singers will be entertaining the music connoisseurs. The hit songs of 1970 to 1990 were originally sung by Kishore Kumar, Mohammed Rafi, S. Janaki., S. P. Balasubramanyam, Yesudas and P. Susheela will be rendered during the concert. The entry is free, said Dr Srinivas.
Vidyullahari Secretary Shashikumar, Bhoomika Associates Proprietor Suresh, senior mimicry artiste Mysore Anand, drummer Raghavendra Prasad, organising secretary Ajay Shastri, Vishwanath and Murali were present.
