Mysuru: Preparations in full swing for Yoga Day - 1 min read

Mysuru: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will arrive to the City on June 21 for the International Day of Yoga 2022. The preparations for the event are in full swing in coordination with 11 committees that have been formed to ensure the smooth conduct of International Day of Yoga (IDY).

The event planned in Mysuru on the occasion of the International Day of Yoga 2022 will be held on the theme ‘Yoga for Humanity.’ All the citizens across the globe may participate in the event. Anyone willing to participate may take part irrespective of their community and background.

Accordingly, HIV positive, tertiary sexes, ASHA workers and people with special needs are being imparted yoga training by Yoga Federation of India at Arogya Bhavan of Mysuru District Health Office here from Wednesday June 8.

The yoga training programme is a prelude for participants who wish to take part in the main event along with PM Modi.
