Mysuru: President Droupadi Murmu will inaugurate the Dasara 2022 atop of the Chamundi Hills on September 26.
Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai made an announcement in this regard.
“President of India accepted our invitation,” he stated.
For the first time in the recent years Dasara will be inaugurated by President of India.
Mysuru city is gearing up for the Dasara celebrations after two years. Covid 19 restrictions had taken sheen out of the celebrations. This year no restrictions have been imposed on the celebrations
