Mysuru: The Government has spent lakhs of tax money to buy vehicles for the use of officials for public service. However, it has been alleged in Nanjanagudu that the authorities have resorted to luxury vehicles without using government-reserved vehicles.

The farmers have warned the authorities to immediately curb the use of their luxury cars and use the vehicles provided by the Government. The farmers have warned the authorities that they will not allow the public’s tax money to be wasted.

The vehicles provided to about 20 Government Department Officers in Nanjanagudu are rusting due to lack of proper use. Though the vehicles are in good condition, the officials who are not in use have resorted to private luxury vehicles.

Farmer leaders have expressed anger against the authorities for ignoring the vehicles purchased with public tax money.
