Mysuru: Various Tibetan organisations staged a protest against China in front of Deputy Commissioner’s office on Wednesday March 9.

Addressing the gathering, the Tibetan Youth Congress President Tsring Axep said that China is systematically destroying Tibetan culture, language and religion. He said China banned learning of Tibetan language. He said that this is not the problem of Tibetans only. In future, it would pose problem for Asia and India too.

He said Tibetans are organising 63 rebel day, staging a protest for freedom from China. He said the Chinese Government should agree for the solution putforth by spiritual leader Dalailama for Tibetan problems. He urged China to start dialogue with Tibetans, release leader Panchen Lama, and other political prisoners. China should respect Tibetans’ cultural, social, political, and religious  feelings.

The members of Tibetan Youth Congress, Regional Tibetan Women Association, and Mysuru Tibetan Students’ Association participated in the protest.
