Mysuru: The H. D. Kote Police, who seized the vehicle of 30 buffaloes which were being transported from Hyderabad to Kerala in a cattle container vehicle.
They were transporting 30 buffaloes in a cattle container vehicle, and it is said to be transported to slaughter houses in Kerala as part of the Christmas celebrations, when they noticed that buffaloes were being transported in a very bad condition. It is learnt that the animals were travelling without food and water for three to four days.
While only a handful of buffaloes in the vehicle were fitted with the horn plates, which raised suspicion of the public. The rest of the buffaloes were fitted with the horn plates on the night of Saturday December 23 by a team of H. D. Kote veterinary doctors.
