Mysuru: A special Banaras turban readied in Cultural City will be presented to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is coming to unveil the statue of Nadaprabhu Kempegowda at the Bengaluru Airport on November 11.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is arriving to unveil a huge statue at KIAL. City-based artist m Nandan Singh has prepared a beautiful Banaras turban for him. The red colour turban is attractive, with pearl-like crystals attached on both sides, and this Banaras turban is made in the same turban pattern in the statue of Nadaprabhu Kempegowda Higher Education Minister Dr. C. N. Ashwath Narayan.
This Banaras turban has been prepared by artists under the supervision of Nammur – Nammoru Samaj Seva Trust, Mysuru, on the advice of Ashwath Narayan. It was handed over to the CM and Chief Minister Bommai will hand over the turban to the Prime Minister on the day of the event.
