Mysuru: In a heart-wrenching incident, two girls were found dead in a freezer box due to asphyxiation three days ago.

The deceased girls have been identified as Bhagya (12), daughter of Devaraju and Chikka Devamma and Kavya (8), daughter of Raja Naika and Gowramma of Masage Village in Nanjanagudu Taluk.

It is said that the girls were playing hide and seek game when the incident occurred.  While playing in the afternoon, the girls got inside iceboxes belonging to one Hanumantha Naika.  Unfortunately, the boxes had no option to be opened from the inside. Hence, both the girls died of asphyxiation.
