Mysuru: Narasimharaja Constituency MLA Tanvir Sait said that he would file public interest litigation (PIL) against the playbook Tipu Nija Kanasugalu (Tipu true dreams) authored by noted writer Addanda Cariappa. The book was released on Sunday November 13 and is scheduled for play in Rangayana from November 20 next.
Speaking to mediapersons on Monday November 23, Tanvir said that ‘Tipu Nija Kanasugalu’ was released and the book is in my hands. The drama will be performed on November 20 and I will file a PIL through our lawyer to prevent the play from being performed, he said.
MLA Tanveer Sait hit back at MP Pratap Simha’s alleged statement regarding the evacuation of gumbaz-type bus stops, saying that what is seen through one’s eyes is what one sees. The bus shelter is funded by the State Government. If they want to demolish a Gumbaz-type bus station, let them do it, he said.
Tanveer Sait challenged the MP that we will take care of it. The idea of painting schools with saffron is not right. They are doing whatever is in their mind and added that all these are normal during elections.
