Mysuru: The white tigress Thara from Mysuru Chamarajendra Zoological gardens has given birth to three cubs recently.
According to press release issued by Executive Director of Zoo on Monday May 9, these cubs are sired by male tiger named Rocky. Mother and cubs are being closely monitored by animal keepers and zoo veterinary team.
Thara is 8 years old and Rocky is 4 years old. At present, Mysuru Zoo houses nine male, seven female tigers and three cubs.
