Mysuru: Religious leaders, laymen gather to spread message of national unity

Mysuru: Amidst the ongoing hijab-saffron shawl controversy in the State, the Hindu, Muslim and Christian religious leaders and laymen celebrated national unity and integrity in the City.

The religious leaders along with the Youth Congress Wing members and lay people gathered in front of the Mysuru District Law Court Complex near Mahatma Gandhi’s bust here on Saturday February 19. Youth leader N. M. Naveen Kumar led the event aimed at spreading the message of national unity and harmony.

Varuna Constituency MLA Dr. Yathindra Siddaramaiah, Congress City President R. Murthy, Congress Rural President Dr. B. J. Vijay Kumar and many other leaders and activists were present.
