Mysuru: The Akhila Karnataka Siddaramaiah Abhimanigala Brigade staged a protest against Mysuru – Kodagu BJP MP Prathap Simha on Tuesday June 7 in front of Mysuru Law Courts’ complex at Krishnaraja Boulevard here in the City.
The protest was carried out against Simha for speaking lightly about the Former Chief Minister in a press meet recently.
The activists said that Simha has questioned our Leader Siddaramaiah’s service and spoke lightly regarding his law practice, saying that he practised law in some local courts and how would he know anything about law. They also questioned whether he graduated with a degree from Oxford University under a scholarship to become a Member
of Parliament. They added that Siddaramaiah is a farmer’s son, who completed his BA
and LLB, practiced law and served for the welfare of the public. He presented the Karnataka Budget 13 times in his political career and received great appreciation for it. They further questioned Simha on what are his contributions.
Meanwhile, the advocates also joined the protest against Lok Sabha member Prathap Simha in front of the Law Courts here on Tuesday. They boycotted the court work and slammed Simha for his unwarranted remarks on Siddaramaiah and the law fraternity.
