Mysuru: Karnataka State Vokkaligara Vikasa Vedike has announced that the nominations are open for the ‘Kananada Vikasa Ratna.’
Speaking to mediapersons on Thursday December 3, vedike President H. L. Yamuna said, “Like every year, our organisation will be celebrating “Kannada Habba” on December 25. The ‘Kannada Vikasa Ratna’ Award will be conferred to a person who has served and achieved in various fields. The nominations for the award will be accepted until December 12.”
“We will be presenting the award in the name of late Rajeshekar Koti, founder and editor of ‘Andolana,’ a Kannada daily along with cash token of Rs. 10,000. Another award will be presented in the name of late Talakadu Dasegowda, who was a mentor for our organisation for 8
years.”
Interested individuals organisations may submit the nominations at No. 3, CBS Building, 2nd floor, KR Circle, Mysuru, on or before December 12.
