Mysuru: Rakshit Shastry, an employee of NR Group, the manufacturer of India’s largest and the only Certified Carbon Neutral agarbathi, qualified for the 60th National Shooting Championship after winning the National Qualification and South Zone championship in Madurai.
Rakshit Shastry is ranked 3rd in South India amongst 600 participants. The young IT analyst will be participating in the national event of 10mts Air Pistol and 50mts Free Pistol, organized by the National Rifle Association of India (NRAI) at the Belewadi stadium in Pune.
Rakshit Shastry sharing his happiness after getting qualified for national shooting said, “I would like to dedicate the medals to my company who believed in me and gave complete support to win these medals”. Commenting on Rakshit’s accomplishment, Arjun Ranga, Managing Director of Cycle Pure Agarbathies said, “Our organization takes immense pride on this achievement of Rakshit. He has done a commendable job. Rakshit is a multitalented employee and has a lot of potential in him. For the upcoming championship, our support and good wishes are with him”.
Rakshit Shastry is an employee of NRH Mysuru, who keeps a sharp eye for the target. The lad has won several awards in Karate, Swimming, Badminton and Table-Tennis. He happens to be a sketch artist and a regular blogger as well. Rakshit holds a formal degree in BE (Mechanical) and M.Tech (Product Design).
